Tara Tajdari is an Iranian-born interior designer, manufacturer, and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in luxury furniture design and production.

 

After completing her Interior Design degree at Cavendish College, England in 2004, she began a career defined by craftsmanship, artistry, and a deep appreciation for timeless design. Rooted in her Persian heritage and shaped through years of collaboration with master artisans, Tara seeks to keep alive the centuries of experience, authenticity, and craftsmanship of Iranian artists, sharing this heritage with the world through design.

 

Her main goal is to reveal and elevate the cultural and artistic richness of Iran, combining the authenticity of centuries-old Iranian artistic traditions with ideas drawn from European design. Through this dialogue between East and West, she seeks to create a refined, mixed, and elevated collection that honours heritage while offering something new and contemporary to her clients.

 

In December 2022, she founded Atelier by GGT in Canada, guided by a vision to bridge handcrafted artistry, exceptional craftsmanship, and refined European sensibilities with the evolving landscape of Vancouver’s luxury interiors. Her work reflects a commitment to creating meaningful pieces that bring warmth, beauty, and enduring character into the home.

 

As the owner of a dedicated production facility and the official representative of GGT by Atelier in Canada, Tara remains closely involved in every stage of creation. From initial concept to final execution, each piece is thoughtfully overseen to ensure uncompromising quality, detail, and craftsmanship.

 

Through Atelier by GGT, she continues to shape collections that honour heritage, celebrate craftsmanship, and share the artistic spirit of Iran with the world, enriching the way people experience their homes.
